Christian Education Ministry
The mission of the Christian Education Ministry is to enable individuals to recognize their uniqueness in Christ and to grow in faith and service through innovative and creative experiences. We have such experiences in Kidstuf, MOPS, The Gathering, The Adult Sunday School Class and yes, especially, the Nursery.
The Christian Education Ministry promotes the spiritual and intellectual nurture and development of the FHPC congregation, extending responsive programs and resources to members of all ages. In conjunction with the FHPC Session and Pastor, the Christian Education Ministry plans, organizes, and implements the education and Christian formation program of the church, to include Sunday School, youth activities, retreats and conferences, and weekday religious studies (both adult and Confirmation-age children). The Ministry helps to organize all necessary support for these programs, including the recruitment and training of teachers, nursery school staff, and childcare attendants.
